I am an Associate Professor and course coordinator in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Kent State University. I am the faculty advisor of the Ohio Epsilon Chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon and of the newly formed Undergraduate Mathematics Club. I have just been elected to a three-year term as Councillor of Pi Mu Epsilon. I have a BS in Applied Mathematics (Theoretical Computer Science) and an MA and PhD in Pure Mathematics, all from Kent State University. My research interests are in finite group theory, specifically algebra groups. My teaching interests include liberal arts mathematics, calculus, and actuarial mathematics.
