I began teaching mathematics at Kent State University in Spring 1986. I taught as a graduate assistant or part-time instructor for many years. I was appointed full-time non-tenure-track (FTNTT) Instructor in Fall 2001. I was promoted to Lecturer in 2004, to Assistant Professor upon receipt of my Ph.D. in 2012, to Associate Professor in 2013, and to Professor in 2016.
