CLASS OPERATION:
- Homework
will be assigned regularly and collected every week or two (with one
week notice).
It will be due Saturday 6:00pm of the week it is to be collected.
It will be graded and returned the following Tuesday. It
will count towards the final
course
grade (40%).
- Late
homework: 1 day late (following Monday) -20%, 2 days late (following
Tuesday) -40%, no credit after graded homework has been returned.
- An in-class Mid-Term Exam will be given near the middle of the semester. In class, closed book and notes, no calculators.
- A Final Exam will be given during the regularly scheduled
Final Exam period for the course (Tues, May 11, 7:45am-10:00am). It
will cover only material after that covered by the Mid-Term.
GRADES: Homework (40%), Mid-Term
(30%), Final
(30%).

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: The
official registration deadline for this course is January 31,
2010. University policy requires all students to be officially
registered in each class they are attending. Students who are not
officially registered for a course by published deadlines should not be
attending classes and will not receive credit or a grade for the
course. Each student must confirm enrollment by checking his/her
class schedule (using Student Tools in FlashFast) prior to the deadline
indicated. Registration errors must be corrected prior to the
deadline.
The last day to withdraw is April 4, 2010.
