COURSE MATERIALS:   Solution methods for heat, wave, and potential equations. Study of Fourier series, Fourier transforms, and Green's functions.

CLASS OPERATION: GRADING POLICY:   Homework: 20%; Two mid-term exams: 40%; Final exam: 40%.
