"Many people take no care of their money till they come nearly
to the end of it, and others do just the same with their time."
- Goethe

They used to photograph Shirley Temple through gauze. They should photograph me through linoleum. Tallulah Bankhead

We try to grab pieces of our lives as they speed past us. Photographs freeze those pieces and help us remember how we were.
We don't know these lost people but if you look around, you'll find someone just like them. Gene McSweeney

UNIQUE PICTURES:
These are pictures that I thought were worth putting out here so that people can view larger versions of them - simply because they are worth looking at! Well, for ME at least...

OTHER INTERESTING PICS

Here are my guys...

This is our outdoor checkerboard that sits in my garden. We use flattened glass marbles for the checker pieces. I also have glass chess pieces from another set for playing chess. There is also a spot on it for tic-tac-toe.

You know, sometimes I come home and find the neighbor kids sitting in my garden playing checkers - how cool is that?

This is a picture of my COOL dog Ema. Her full name is Emanon. She was named this because she was the last of a litter that our first dog had and we couldn't figure out what to name her. For a couple days she was the "no-name" dog. We just couldn't decide. Then for some strange reason, we tried to spell no name backwards and it came out emanon. We figured "Ema" would go for short, and thus, our last puppy became our favorite little poochy, Ema.

I have some more pics of her on my PET'S PAGE, but it's a little old.

This is Melissa holding a squirrel that fell out of her tree and the mother wouldn't take care of it anymore, so she nursed it back to health. It's so cute! When she had it, it would make a nest inside her sports bra... While she was wearing it. How hilarious is that?

Want to see what it's really like to ride the batman ride at Six Flags? Click on the picture to see Me, Michael N., Kaity, and Jean toughing it out... I'm so glad Michael's lips aren't still stuck to his teeth.

(Note that right about this time, Kaity is thinking "I'm not going to pee my pants, I'm not going to pee my pants..." and luckily... SHE DIDN'T!)

"Families are like brownies, really sweet with a few NUTS."

Well, this is our nut, My Dad. I'm very proud of him really. It takes a lot of talent to stay out of the Looney Bin for that long. :) Just Kidding DAD! Anyway, this is him. And the picture in the next cell to the right is one of his creations...click his picture to go to his page...

This is the new-fangled way to go camping when you're in a hurry. This is a camper that my dad built of his own design (patent-pending). He is quite the inventor. The picture doesn't show it, but the little step-stool doubles as a port-a-potty. (Don't ask).

This was my son's birthday cake from his 6th birthday party. I made it. I'm just proud, that's why it's here.

For his 7th birthday, he had this cake:
This one was made by my lovely sister Jeannie. She's got a knack for decorating. But unfortunately she sometimes forgets that when you sneak a taste of the black frosting it turns your teeth blue. :-)

For his 8th birthday... well. we forgot to get the camera. But it had a big hill, a waterfall, and tons of dinosaurs EVERYWHERE. It was pretty cool.

His 9th birthday was a round cake that was supposed to be like a bulls-eye with a heart in the middle. It originally had a dot in the middle, but looked like a huge boob, so I changed it to a heart instead for Valentine's day.

His 10th birthday cake had his bowling score on it, cause it was a bowling party.

His 11th... uh... can't remember. Shoot. I think that was the year that I made a chocolate cake from SCRATCH. (not out of a box)

His 12th was a 7 layer cake with chocolate frosting that I made myself with army guys on it, whipped cream trim, strawberry and chocolate pudding filling and .... well, it was just a kickass cake.

His 13th was a chocolate cake with whipped chocolate icing that had Happy Birthday and balloons on top that Bryan made... and that weekend we had a chocolate silk cake too at the 'cabin'.

This is the art picture that my son got an honorable mention for - is it a riot or what?!?!?!?!? (Keep in mind that this was 1st grade...)
