"UNDER CONSTRUCTION"
LITERACY: The condition or quality of being literate, especially the ability to read and write. (www.websters.com)
GENERAL INFORMATION
WRITING: an essential form of communication. Sure, there are lots of shortcuts, but what happens when your computer goes down? What happens when you can't dictate to your secretary because she's out sick? What do you do when you need to leave a note for your Mom that her doctor called, but the letters that you are writing sometimes come out backwards? There's a lot of problems people can have with writing. Neat handwriting is an issue for a LOT of us, but what about those who struggle to write words using the correct letters? Or just struggle to write a letter from the alphabet at all? What about those who love to write, have great handwriting, but can't seem to find ways to express themselves when faced with a piece of paper?
I hope that I will be able to address writing problems on this page... from the very very smallest problems (that most of us have everyday), to those problems that children, and even adults, struggle with in order to communicate on paper at all. If you know of any problems that are uncommon, I would like to know about them so that I can list them. Please email me and let me know if you have more information that I can use. Thanks!
