TEAM AWARD FOR THIS
YEAR (and every other year...):
Most Injured!For those interested, I'm pretty
sure that out of all the teams this year, we were probably the only
one who had someone get injured at EVERY game. (as far as I can
remember) So just for sh**s and giggles, I'm going to list them
------------------> |
INJURIES ON AND OFF THE FIELD:
Alex: Sprained ring finger playing volleyball
Laurie: Tore up legs from falling off treadmill (could someone please
buy her a pair of velcro-on shoes?)
Ramiro: pulled a muscle in his 'cou' running to first base
Mary: pulled her leg muscle running to first base, too. Same game as
Ramiro.
Dave M: pulled arm/shoulder(?) in one of the first games.
Dave M (again!): got pelted with the ball at first base and limped
around for about 5 minutes before we knew he was OK.
Hideki: pulled his 'cou' muscle at the tournament game.
Misty: hit by the ball playing short/2nd and her arm went numb (let's
not forget the shins too), and bruised palm from catching a line drive
(the only one I caught!)
Vince/Alex: Collision on the field
Alex/Hideki: various bruises from hot dog catches (but they didn't
drop the ball!!!)
**I know there are more - anyone remember who else got injured this
summer?
