Here it started

We left from this parking lot at about 7:00 AM PDT. Here, at the bottom of the Yosemite Valley, we were at 4035 feet above sea level; the top of Half Dome is at 8836 feet (about 1.5 kilometers, almost one mile up). We returned here at around 9:00 pm (the last hour and a half in the dark, with flashlights).
