SCHOLARSHIP OBLIGATIONSStudent recipients of a Choose Ohio First Scholarship are required to remain in good academic standing within their STEM major with a (overall and math) GPA of at least 3.0 progressing toward completing the degree in four years and participate in Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program's social and mentoring activities, including a project and a poster session.ELIGIBILITY (for incoming freshmen)You must: Intend to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Math, AMTH, CS, or IMTH (future math teachers); Be a U.S. permanent resident; Reside in Ohio; Be ready to take a calculus course in Fall 2017 (math ACT score of at least 27, math SAT score 620 or above). Only Kent campus students are eligible to participate in the program.ELIGIBILITY (for sophomores, juniors, and seniors)You must: Be progressing toward completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Math, AMTH, CS, or IMTH with a (overall and math) GPA of at least 3.0; Have (at least) passed Calculus I and II in your freshman year and Calculus III or Linear Algebra in your sophomore year; Be a U.S. permanent resident and reside in Ohio. Only Kent campus students are eligible to participate in the program. |
